My Photography: After "Academy of Photo Arts" 21May12

My Photography - After Academy of Photo Arts
21May12

I've been reborn.  I've been educated.  I've been enlightened.  I now believe, I am a better photographer: with credentials.  [Light shining down from above on my head....]

This past weekend, I attended a course in photography at an Intermediate Level - through the Academy of Photo Arts.  Amazingly, everyone usually thinks (when they take a photo) that they are good.  I am of the belief, nothing is good enough and it could always be better.  I honestly believe in any Art, the skills - if not honed and advanced by further education: will surely falter.  With this in mind, I am always looking to take courses and workshops to learn that little extra something that I may not have heard about or read in one of my many, many books.  Despite having about 20 educational photography books, there is something to be said about being in a small class - learning from a pro and others with the same passion.  And it's true - I've learned another thing or two!  I am thankful that I am already signed up for my next course: Advanced level, which is in a few more weeks.  If I could (and possibly after some time) I'd love to go back to University and enroll in a serious Photography course.  Those would be credentials that would take me beyond the average.

I have the tools, I have better skills.  Here's the result after a few days of using my new skills.
