My new Flickr Group...
My last post was dedicated to the Editing world of photography as well as introducing my Flickr PhotoStream. This post today is dedicated to my new reveal, my all things BLACK & WHITE Flickr PHOTO GROUP.
Since my favourite photo genre is Black and White, AND I have a desire to work hard on my iPhoneography, I spend a lot of time trying to refine those two skills. Over the last few months, I've been spending my quiet (haha, not many of those) moments looking though the many, many Black & White Flickr groups and also the many, many iPhoneography Flickr groups. It occurred to me, (in a split second thought) there was a need to have these two groups amalgamated. Why flip between two different genres of groups (meaning looking at least hundreds of actual groups - times two, which contain thousands of photos) when I could create my very own group that caters to these two categories? What a relief that would be, to have it all in one place. Seems to me, wishing for the convenience of having these two in one, is silly. I'll just do it myself! Doesn't it seem logical to think, if I am a person who uses both my "master" camera, my Nikon D7000 and my "slave" camera, my iPhone - wouldn't there be a lot of others doing the same? Seriously, everyone knows that their iPhone (or other cell phone of choice...) is the most convenient camera they will ever have with them nearly all the time... right? And within the last few years, iPhoneography has become quite the photography art and genre in itself.
And with that, BLACK & WHITE FOR NIKON AND IPHONEOGRAPHY was born.

I believe I will eventually make the natural extension of that for others, who want a generic group of BLACK AND WHITE for any DSLR and CELLPHONEOGRAPHY (for all Master DSLR Cameras and Slave Smart Phones).

This is just a small portion of my contributed Black and Whites. The link to the Flickr group I created has some very beautiful Black and White images that have been taken all over the world. My contribution is limited to my small corner of the globe.
And just a small touch of colour here for those not loving the B&W...
